Beef Stroganoff

I made up my own beef stroganoff recipe without mushrooms since I tend to have an “adverse” reaction to mushrooms.

Brown 2 lbs. ground beef* on stove top. Drain excess fat. Stir 1 pkg. onion soup mix into the ground beef. Add 2 cans cream of chicken soup. Stir well. Simmer on low while cooking egg noodles in separate pan.

Before serving, add 8 oz. sour cream to beef mixture and stir well.

Serve over egg noodles which have been cooked according to package directions.

* You may substitute steak for ground beef. Cook thinly-sliced steak in 2 tablespoons olive oil.
